#12 Museum of the City of New York
Hi, Konnichiwa everyone😘 I hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend! Do you have any plans on 4th of July? I am thinking of going see the famous firework-display near the East River, in New York City... but I am not sure yet. Honestly, I want to avoid crowded places.
By the way, the last Sunday was my birthday~!💕 Thank you all friends sent me lovely lovely messages! Actually, I did not have anything special on my birthday. But I enjoyed late-birthday dinner with my friends last night.😊
So..today, I would like to share one of the pretty places in New York City, which I went to on my birthday.
こんにちは、みなさん週末はいかがおすごしですか？ 次の火曜日は4th of Julyで、休日なのですが、私は花火を見に行こうか何か特別なことをしようか、まだ迷っています。今日は、ニューヨークにあるとてもフォトジェニックな博物館について少し紹介しようと思います。😊
Look at this! ⇧ It's so beautiful isn't it? I felt like I was a princess.😂💗 This is the Museum of the City of New York (MCNY), which is located on 5th Ave/ between 103rd and 104th St. Though this museum is not as famous as the Metropolitan Museum, you can learn about New York City well. (..And it's not so crowded!) Its appearance is also beautiful and photogenic.
この博物館は5番街を北にのぼっていった、103rdと104th Streetの間にあります。最寄り駅は、地下鉄4，5，6番線の103rd St. です。そこからセントラルパークに向かって徒歩8分～10分くらいの場所にあります。とっても素敵な建物なので、すぐに見つかると思います！
This is what they have currently (06/25/2017)
To be honest, I did not have enough time to see all of them, so I did not go to the third floor. But there is the pretty cafe on the second floor and personally, I liked "Activist New York" exhibition and "Port city" exhibition best. If you do not have enough time to see everything, I recommend you to see first and second floor. (..and don't forget to take a picture in front of the spiral staircase!😜)
私は、全部を見る時間がなかったのですが、みなさんももしも全部見る時間に余裕がなければ1階と2階を見ることをお勧めします。😄2階にはちょっとオシャレなカフェもありますし、キラキラしてフォトジェニックな螺旋階段の前で写真を撮ることもおすすめします！）
There is Blue Stone Lane Coffee inside and outside of the museum. This cafe is also pretty! Personally, I really like its chai latte. This is the best chai latte ever.😋 You can also enjoy some light meals there.
If you want to visit some photogenic places, learn about New York City, and also avoid crowded places.. this museum is my highly recommendation.
この博物館はメトロポリタンほど有名なものではありませんが、フォトジェニックな場所に行きたい！ニューヨーク市のことを知りたい！人が沢山いるところは疲れちゃう！
