#15 Taglialatella Galleries

Hi, Konnichiwa lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful vacation. ... Me? I still have one more week for classes... Of course, I still have finals.. and presentations. 😑😑😑

Anyway, I would like to share one of the fancy art galleries in New York City, Taglialatella Galleries with you today. This gallery is located on 10th Avenue and between 23rd and 24th Street, which is really close to The High Line. You can find lots of art galleries in this area. I accidentally found this art gallery on Instagram. As you know, these days, many fashion companies and art galleries are focusing on "Instagram Friendly" as their business strategies. So I usually try to find photogenic places on Instagram, as many people do because it is easy to find, I can see thousands of pictures and compare to other places, and I can also check the locations easily. Taglialatella Galleries exhibits paintings, sculptures and works on paper by contemporary and modern masters with a focus on Pop and Street art, and this gallery is "Instagram friendly". You can see many avant-garde art works here.

さて！今日はニューヨークにあるアートギャラリーのひとつ、Taglialatella Galleriesを紹介したいと思います。ニューヨークと言えばアート！大小問わず、アートギャラリーや美術館は山ほどあります！そんな中でも、特に若い世代に人気なのはやっぱり「インスタグラムフレンドリー」な場所ですよね‼💖最近はファッション業界、アート業界ともに「インスタグラムフレンドリー」というのを戦略にしているところは多いので、こういったフォトジェニックな場所を見つけるのはとても簡単になってきました。このギャラリーは主にポップ/ストリートアートにフォーカスしていて、アバンギャルドな作品を沢山見ることが出来ます。

↑私の今回のお気に入りはこれです。

Personally, I was very happy to see lots of portraits of Marilyn Monroe. Of course, since this is an art gallery, its exhibitions are changed quite often. So I am not sure whether you can see the Marilyn Monroe’s portraits or not when you visit. However, I am sure you can find something cool, photogenic, and "New York style" here. Check out this gallery, if you have a chance to visit New York City! 

マリリンモンローが大好きな私は、偶然にもたくさんのマリリンモンローの肖像画を見ることができてとっても嬉しかったです。💕 あくまでも、ここはアートギャラリーなので、展示されている作品は訪れるタイミングによって違いがあるかと思います。しかし、、！このギャラリーはインスタグラムフレンドリーなギャラリーには間違いないので、いつ来ても何かクールなものが絶対あると思います！いかにもニューヨーク！という感じの作品を沢山見ることが出来るギャラリーなので、ぜひ足を運んでみてはどうでしょうか。
